YAKER, Vida Viola (Mrs. Hanna)-- 1924-1999
Belleville News Democrat dated March 10, 1999 - Vida Viola Hanna, nee Yaker, 73,
of Payette, ID formerly of Belleville, IL, born July 22, 1925 in St. Louis, MO, died Tuesday,
March 9,1999 at Pleasant Autumn Care Center, Ontario, OR. Vida married (private) Hanna,
June 27, 1945 in St. Charles, MO. Out of their union was born five children. Surviving are
four daughters, (private): one son (private); three grandsons, (private); five granddaughters,
(private); one step-granddaughter, (private); and two great-grandchildren, (private). Also
surviving is a sister, (private), and former husband. Vida was preceded in death by her parents,
Victor and Louise (nee Cain) Yaker and a sister, Irene Conner. She enjoyed painting, fishing,
metal detecting and crocheting. Through it all, win or lose, she was always a St. Louis Cardinal
baseball fan.
